Default look at these pictures of the BoE gold. something odd or is it just me?
i thought most gold held by governments was i the form of 400 ounce bars. the ones in these pictures all look like big 1,000 ounce silver comex bars. is gold held in 1,000 ounce bars? first i've heard of it.

That's about 200-300 tons of gold bullion, assuming those are 400 oz good delivery bars. That's about right for BoE's official gold reserves.

Back in the day you could buy a single house for one of those. Now you can buy two!

Even if it's Gold-plated Tungsten, it's still more physical Gold than most of us will ever see this lifetime!

Truly droolworthy!

P.S. Are those FRENCH posters on the walls? Hilariously ironic...

P.P.S. Looks like 2 different sizes of bars in there...
