Why was the first DR batter out in inning 7 of the Venezuela game, Caribe Series?

He was on base on the night of January 3, 2012, then they just told him to sit down and he did. Couldn't figure it out. Any ideas? It was the seriedelcaribe. I love baseball, and I have no idea.
