Jean, The pic with all the trees in the background, are those "clumps" squirrel nests?

Nice pictures Jean, for some reason they make me think back to the various movies I saw and books I read about the Battle for the Bulge and fight that took place in the Hurtgen forrest during WW2.

I had the same experience when I visisted the Bastogne area two years ago.

For some reason I have the idea that in the Ardennes the enviroment didn't change much since WW2.

Thanks for the info Jean, I wasn't quite aware were you lived within the country Luxembourg.

During my last visit in Belgium we stayed in the small town of Robertville. Ever been there?

Default Impressions of a cold morning walk!
We had very few snow until now, but the low temperatures of these last weeks prevented it from fading!
This morning I started at 08:30 with temp. = -10 Celsius; fortunately no wind so the walk was rather comfortable !

Here some pics:

frozen ditch in the forest:

somwhat slippery way!!

Home again soon: this street is leading to our house and I am cold enough now !! Jean

Very nice, I like picture 2. In Munich we have more snow, last night temperature went down to -15°C in the city, outside more.
Best regards, Gina
