i've been listening to 'dreams from my father' on my underwater mp3 player while swimming and, wow, it's incredibly absorbing and thought-provoking. he also happens to be a writer who puts you right at the exact time and place and feelings of the person he is describing.. i can't put it any other way than to say it's immersive (pun intended ;)

otherwise hope you cats are all well, i recently got made redundant but it's been like a new lease of life so don't be afraid people!!
