Default UK-wide internet outage
FYI to UK'ers - something has gone bang at the London Internet Exchange so expect some kind of outage at some point.

Both our IT support company and leased line providers have been in touch to say that although these things are self-healing there is a probability that everyone will experience some temperamental internet for the next few hours.

No alerts at my work, or any network outages between US and EMEA. Is this specific ISPs or some bigger backbone problem?

At some point most UK internet traffic goes through LINX.

Someone tripped over the cord, huh?

Unless someone took a lawnmower to work...
