Default Downgraded and could not be happier!
A while back I was planning to sell my G73 gaming laptop (i7 + 5870m) and replace it with a smaller, more mobile laptop. Well, I decided the few hundred bucks was not worth the hassle and simply donated it to a local youth center and bought myself a 15" Acer (i3 + 520m) and could not be happier! Gaming aside, for the things I use it for (internet, photo editing, word, ect...) it performs without hesitation and no noticable difference in anything (as expected). And even does some light gaming when needed albiet at modest quality and resolution. But with a native res of 1366 x 768, it runs most everything on med/high settings and limited AA/AF. Obviously not a real gaming rig here, but it's nice to be able to actually play games at all when needed.

Anyway, the G73 was just to cumbersome and this new laptop is very easy to use anywhere and quite a snappy little kit! I've perhaps grown beyond my days of PC gaming so it was a easy decision to make. It is very impressive what ~$400 can get you these days with regards to a laoptop. Anyway, just thought I'd share...

Yeah, that was a huge plus! The G73 gave me like 1 1/2 hours at most unplugged (not gaming), while the new one gives me 4 hours or so...

Get an iPad then. You'll get 9-10 hours youtube over wi-fi.
