I have a much better suggestion than 'resisting' as 'resisting' is usually met with force - try non-violent non-compliance as in quit 'going along to get along' by consenting and cooperating. Works for me.

There is a fate that is worse than death. And that is allowing your tormentors to dominate you without a fight. They will extinguish that which is inextinguishable --your will. But only if you allow it.

Bottom line: It is your will that defines your freedom. And you can choose to maintain it, or abandon it. Your tormentors will get bonus satisfaction if you abandon your will. It makes them feel good if they succeed in breaking you. If they want to kill you or make a slave out of you, make it unsatisfying for them.

I'm livin' it and apparently you're not. The beast gets very little - if anything - from me. Why should I enable and PAY those who wish to harm/destroy me??

And FYI, for every 'Ed Brown' out there there are thousands of others who manage not to become a target while not enabling and PAYING the beast to destroy them.
