Jews Shake Down Mel Gibson For Reparations

Does it ever end? Get a load of this…

Congregation Beth Shalom in Corona, California has sent Mel Gibson a letter in hopes of guilting him into forking over some cash to bail them out of a bad investment they made on their local synagogue. Apparently, the group took out a giant loan that they can’t afford to pay back and are now facing foreclosure.

In a move reminiscent of something out of post-war Germany, the Southern California synagogue is looking to Gibson as though he should pay some kind of “Holocaust” style reparations for the so-called anti-Semitic tirade he made back in 2006.



I guess it’s not enough that Mel has already spent millions of dollars contributing to Jewish charities, including $5 million to the Jewish Cedars Sinai Hospital. Not to mention getting down on his knees and apologizing to the Jewish community on numerous occassions—only to have his career railroaded anyway.

Entertainment website TMZ apparently got their hands on the letter. Here’s what it says:

“Our proposal to you, Mr. Gibson, is since you have been cited as an Anti-Semitic, and have denied those allegations, what better way to prove to all your fans and the nay Sayers — than to endorse and help raise funds for our cause — SOS, Save Our Synagogue…“Mr. Gibson, we offer you to be a Mensch and make a sizable contribution to our cause.”

3 : marked by originality and verve A meme I would like to see catch on more is, "(The) Chutzpah Maneuver", a phrase I made up which I find to be the zio's favorite deception technique. Its basic steps are:

Step 1: Invert reality (victim/victimizer, good/bad, right/wrong, up/down, black/white, etc),

Step 2: Project this fruadulent, inverted reality onto your opponent, by accusing them of displaying what is in reality a perfect, mirror-image description of your own consistently demonstrated behaviors, lies, agendas, and modus operandi's.

Step 3: Self righteously proclaim or otherwise clearly imply your "victimhood" status at having to endure these (your) dishonorable qualities which you've fraudulently accused your opponent of displaying (in step 2).

So my "Chutzpah Maneuver" definition ^ has some overlap with the "Big Lie" deception technique- which Hitler apparently coined in describing organized-Jewry's penchant for the use of a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously." Steps 1 & 2 (invert reality, project), independently as well as in combination, amount to an audacious "Big Lie". while step 3 is the vital "appeal to emotion" part of the Chutzpah Maneuver, where the primary deceiver employing the Chutzpah Maneuver postures as victim/underdog/etc, rightly deserving the sympathy of virtuous observers (who are prone to projecting their own good virtue onto others, thus dismissing the possibility that anyone could invert-reality/LIE so audaciously). If the deceiver's (= the party who employs the Chutzpah Maneuver) target audience is allowed to remain in a rational/objective state of mind, the deceiver's audacious steps 1 & 2 are in jeopardy of withering under the audience's critical scrutiny, and could thus backfire on the deceiver. So step 3, the appeal to emotion, seeks to deactivate the target audience's critical thinking faculties, and to grease the audacious lie home on the wings of appealing to the audience's emotional sympathy, virtue & sense of justice.
