Default 3rd January 2012- Anonymous to go on rampage again?
Seems they want to take Sony down again for supporting SOPA. Even Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga are gonna get it! They say they have infiltrated the servers of Bank of America, The United States Department of Defense, The United Nations, and Lockheed Martin. In one day.

I for one, do not want anonofags to succeed. As they are giving them ammunition to pass these laws. Are the adolescent minds behind these attacks too stupid to realize this... or.. is it all part of the plan?

Edit: these attacks are accelerating the very technologies they mean to disrupt. It's all too fitting.

You're going to have to explain the reasoning behind this, as denial of service attacks and database hacking doesn't correlate with SOPA advancement. It's like saying guns are bad, lets ban alcohol.

Right you are, but do you think SOPA will be the only bill they aim to pass? All signs point to complete internet regulation as the goal.

Also, do you think the ones writing this legislation dont share the "guns are bad ban alcohol" mentality?

And these unorganized attacks are giving them all the ammo they need. Its only a matter of time before key infrastructures are compromised and lead way to total regulation.

I read about SOPA. How exactly do they plan to take down these websites exactly? Do they just filter them out?

Also, from what I've been reading, there is a major flaw in the SOPA design. Basically innocent sites can be attacked and taken down just from a rogue users posting illegal content or links to such content.

I guess some sites will be exempt aka Facebook, Google etc?
