My friend has come back from brain death diagnosis from 19th of Nov till 23rd of Nov, when something subtley changed on Thanksgiving morning. He's not speaking yet, but he is smiling, recognizing people, breathing on his own for short periods of time, and responding to commands.

God has answered prayers here. So, don't always believe Brain Death initial diagnosis. Again, my thanks to Neuro and Mamboni for helping hold the hand of us friends and loved ones during our terrific time. Doctor's are hoping he can be moved out of ICU before Christmas Day. Family has fingers crossed.

God is alive and well, and prayer changes lives!

Merry Christmas to this young man AND his family in the article, most fervently added by me and Helen.

Learned that he spoke last night, softly and with some colorful emphasis, stating he wanted out of the hospital.

Well, he had a "induced comma", meaning that he was put there on purpose....to me that's not dead.
