I just donated for the first time this cycle.

I am going to paraphrase from the excellent book "None Dare Call It Treason" near the end it talks about what you can do to help our current situation, and it basically says that if you do not donate to help people who have a chance of rolling back the tide of marxism and ending the central banks and debt based money one day your money will be worthless and certainly worth less every year.

I was the first person in my family and friends to learn about Ron Paul and like all of you I'm sure became quite passionate, I can honestly say that at least 25 people have become RP voters because I took the time to explain to them, I don't say that to toot my own horn, the credit goes to Dr. Paul but I have pretty much exhausted the people I am close to and my money can hopefully go to wake up people that I don't know.

I decided to donate for several reasons
1) The media does pickup on these big fundraising days
2) RP's campaign seems much more like they are in it to win it this time around (much better ads)
3) RP was a long shot in 2008, but in 2012 the odds are much better

But ultimately I donated for the people in my country, the ones who have not woken up. I found RP around the time I was learning about 9/11, the Fed etc, and I think he can play a big part in a mass awakening in the country, I'd much rather people become aware than have RP in the white house and if he can plant the seeds the better.

Not to mention when else would I donate? Every politician I know of from local to state to federal are scumbags of the highest order. So if not now it may be years before another person comes along who is honest.

Just sit back and envision a world without Ron Paul, nobody standing on the floor of the house railing against the myriad of marxist crap that comes down the pike, nobody on TV telling people honest history and informing people about the Constitution, Ron Paul is a principled man who after 3 decades of fighting alone is finally being vindicated and the world is a better place having him in it.
