Default Android not pushing new contacts.
If I add a contact to my android phone it doesn't push it to my other activesync devices. If I create a contact on my iOS devices it pushes it to my android phone. Any ideas?

Are you making sure that when you add a contact, that it is associated with the exchange account or is it being created to just the phone?

If I create a contact, I have to choose if it goes to my exchange account, gmail account, or if it stays on the phone.

Good point, the only options it gives me are "phone" or "gmail". I wonder where my exchange account has gone!

Well, that would certainly cause the problem.

Do you have the exchange account set up through "Accounts and Sync" or are you using a 3rd party email program that stores that information separate from the OS?

I just assumed that activesync was my phone contacts. I don't know why.

I'm using exchange through accounts and sync but a third party dialler (go contacts ex).

The 3rd party dialer wouldn't be doing anything with your contacts. As for your contacts syncing, you should check your options in accounts & sync and go into the option for the exchange account, and see what options you have available to sync. There should be an option to sync contacts. If there isn't one then i'm not sure what else to do. There has always been rumblings about exchange and android not working well with each other.

Fairly good for you.

/doffs cap.

But in reality, I just have much better things to do than work this out.

Some things that take priority over wasting half a day debugging this problem are:

Learning the names of all types of snake
Building a camel hair garage
Painting my entire house with a 3mm brush
