Default well, i'm off for gimp deer hunting
20 days out from double hernia surgery.

headed to deer camp in the morning. can walk okay as long as i act like i am about 90 years old. can't go up in my tree stand, so they built me a gimp stand on the ground (private land, so i'm okay).

can't lift my 30-06, so i'm using the youth model 243 (which already nobody is letting me forget). .357 s&w model 27 for close combat next to the blind.

uncle said he counted 32 scrapes on the trails in my 40 acres on saturday, so hopefully the 30 pointer is in there.

will post pictures of the 2011 awesome gimp hunt next week. 8)

nah, northern wisconsin. combination of every male over 12 hunting, severe cold 3 months of the year, and no real good food sources for them jan-apr kind of kills them off. very few deer older than 2 or maybe 3 years here.

Ha Ha !!!! Good Luck Chad, be careful ! Are you on any medicine ? Turmeric is really good if you have any to take with you.
It would help with any pain & inflammation etc. I got my husband all stocked up before he goes too !
