Seriously? I'm pretty excited about this.

You'll be fine, a six foot wave can't knock over a concrete skyscraper.

Tsunami warning for NZ has been called off (was at low tide, anyway) and Australia didn't even issue one in the first place.

They had an expert on the power plants and he thinks the problem with the cooling of the fuel isn't that much of an issue, it will remain 'safe'.

Well, be careful out there and don't drink so much alcohol and remember to drink water, so hangover will not be so bad.

Re power plants, fire in one is out, 2000 people around the other have been evacuated...

I'm spending to much time chasing info - just noticed it's after 3am and I haven't had my supper yet...

weather.com or youtube has a breaking news ticker up top. Truthfully I dont see how anyone could survive in that.

Yeah, hopefully taken by someone with a monstrous zoom lens, or else they'd have to get moving pretty sharpish.

Wow.

There are a few FMers in Japan as well. I hope they all are ok!

I hope that nuclear plant doesn't explode and spread radiation everywhere, that'd be the worst.
