That's it! Call in the Myth Busters. I can't take it any more.
Let me just put it this way... You want to fill a Corolla's tank with $15 of 87 octane gas.Valero is selling 87 oct. gas for $3.20. Cheveron is selling 87 oct. for $3.25. Now despite Valero being cheaper, their gas is used up faster by your car. Chevron's gasoline on the other hand lasts longer[ i.e. used up slower]. Thus you have to come back and buy more gas sooner if you go to Valero. Is this true or just a myth? |
