Who the hell are you? And I wouldn't call London tropical. In relation to Northern Canada perhaps, but it's not Florida.
Winnipeg, like most of populated Canada, is pretty far south (as it goes).

It is also home to the command centre for Royal Command for Global Domination Through Our American Puppets, so you'd best show some respect if you want to avoid a nice vacation in an Egyptian prison.

I'd come along. Tell us where you are staying, and we'll identify a pub or bar.

Saturday preferred - then Friday after 7pm suits me best.

What's wrong with beer on the continent? Or are you that frozen you can handle only lukewarm piss?

Precisely. I certainly won't say our lager/pilsner is better than yours...actually it is f**king awful over here...that's why I don't drink it. We do do very good ales, and if I want a good lager, I'll go German

Well I've never seen anything but your common piss that all the pubs seem to have.

Yeah, I am not a big lager drinker, when I am in the UK anyway, so I stick to the ales. Or I'm bloody driving and am not drinking anyway

But never mind this chit chat...what about Uncle Sparky and his adventures to London?

I'll be staying @ The Commodore (under the name Bell) near Paddington Station. Leave me a message there (or here). I'm not sure if the hotel has Wi-Fi, but if you call the desk, they should be able to message me.

Time: The Monkey Puzzle
Place: Friday, 7pm

Or vice versa.

The Monkey Puzzle is a reasonable pub that I've been to a few times. They serve Badger beer too.

And feel free to suggest another time - e.g. if people are available and want to start earlier?

Roll call please...

Good point. So I arrived in London this morning & I'm seeing 'Wicked' tonight & at least 3 of us are going to a pub a Friday. What else should I do in London?

I recommend a walk along the river, maybe with a visit to St Paul's.

I won't be able to go to the pub on Friday but I hope you have good time.

Raving?

Are you time travelling back to the early 90s afterwards or something?
