Default Help with German homework?
I tried to google translate this but didnt get anything. I need to know what she wants so I can do it.

I asked her to also include English instructions but she has yet to do it.

well the upper part tells you to write down Anjes american address into the left box, and her address in Germany into the right box.

The lower part says you must write tthe numbers in german words. like "dreissig" (thirty) for 30 and so on.

Thanks!

I wish she didn't write all the instructions in German because all the words she is using we haven't went over yet.

Why are you learning German? They all speak English.

Seriously man, take a look at the words and think about them, the words are so similar to English it's unreal.

Remember where the English language comes from.

Real men learn Россию!

It's been years since I've learned or spoken any German and I was still able to figure out the gist of the instructions (although I didn't realize Anjes was a person's name at first.)

Even if they do, its always nice when you try to learn a different language. Its always cool when people look surprised when I answer them in their language. Whether it sounds bad or not, but the effort to learn a language is always recognized.

At least from my experience.

German is the second most used language in the world behind English.

The reason I asked the question in the first place is because I was thrown off by the word Anjes. Which turns out to be a name and she didn't go over that part of the assignment until today where she told us she had forgotten to tell us that was part of our in class assignment for today.

No it isn't. Something like Chinese > English > Spanish > Indian/Punjab or whatever > Portuguese............................German at the bottom of the list.

On the note of wikipedia, the german wikipedia is the second largest.

I wonder why they always choose a name like that or something similar like Anke, Antja, or some other name which people in the US won't recognize. Either way, higher level german classes become a bit of a nightmare after a while.(that AP test is a real killer)

Also good for listening in, according to friends who are polylingual, if you don't let on you understand.

Can you list countries that speak primarily German? What are their populations?

Ever been to the US (Michigan was released on waivers)? I have not met an English speaker in months!

Now, if we are talking technical writings (Computer Science and EE) German is definitely one of the most prolific. What is the context of the statement in the book?

Second most used language on the Internet?

You should edit the erroneous post, not the next post!
