Default F1 Suzuka 2010
Should be a good race this one! Early weather predictions say could be a damp race. Who do you think is going to win?

There is an onboard lap here to look at from rFactor also just to get you into the vibe: (Can be played at 720p by opening the video/double click it)

Either Vettel or Webber will win in a canter, with maybe Alonso getting in between them. But it should be a Red Bull 1-2, perfect track for Red Bull, though last week the Red Bull was the fastest car.

I think the Ferrari was as fast as the RedBull last race. Vettel seems to have a touch more pace then Alonso though but failed in his quali attempt. Ferrari is quick, and Mclaren have to pick it up. Sector 2 & 3 are not all about good grip, but good speed also, especially S3 so if Mclaren have that they could be strong in the race at least.

Webber or Button will win - the Ferraris will break down and Lewis will crash into Vettel (or the other way round).
Kubica will also make the podium!

It went something like this:
Kimi was overrated anyway, glad to see him get the sack from Ferrari.
Yup, he's only interested in big money, he don't have his heart in F1, he was a great driver when he wanted to be , but that's exactly the problem. The amount of money he was demanding to stay in F1 scared 90% of teams away.

Personally id like to see hime back, didnt like his antics and his demands but he is a quality driver and id like to see what he could do in one of the middle teams like Renault, and id love to see him team up with Sutil at Force India, that would be a laugh

I think Mclaren will be stronger this race, but again Alonso will be the man to beat. I think he's in good form, and the Ferrari is a very nice all-rounder.

Button did the same but not into the Wall.

Mclaren where running the car far to low thus it was complete pance over bumps and curbs in that session with both drivers running of the road, one worse then the other.

Red Bull is only ever 1-2 in P1 when their car is supreme, ala Hungary.

Expect them to be miles ahead of anyone, maybe even a full second ahead.

Slight hijack here... Big weekend for motor racing in AU. We have Webber fighting it in the F1, but we also have the gruelling martathon on Mt Panorama. The Bathurst 1000 (1000km race).

This track has it all. Rain hail and sun in one race. Typically it might rain on the mountain part but be dry down below. Making for some spectacular racing. One Australia's toughest tracks to race on.

2009 highlights.

Yup, it's going to be a pain with them both on - going to be a lot of channel jumping!

Well the F1 telecast starts 4:50pm here... Bathurst usually finishes 5-5:30pm I think. So hopefully should be done before the F1.

It's not a popular opinion, but Bathurst is a distant second to this weekends F1 race. It's a pivotal moment in the F1 championship, Webber has a chance to cement a handy lead, Vettel has a chance to get himself back in the hunt.

Bathurst will have a dozen safety cars to squander any lead anyone has built up through superior speed. It's not a endurance race anymore, it's a dozen sprint races. With the first eleven essentially being qualifying for the last sprint.

And tbh I don't care anymore who wins.

It was far more interesting back in the Group C and Group A days

Anyway, it seems to be rain for qual in Japan tomorrow!

Yup! I won't fall asleep at this one! [rofl]

And tbh I don't care anymore who wins. It's still endurance the cars still have to endure 1000km. lol. Infact the safety car incidents make sure the racing keeps interesting and that no one team is killing everyone. So in a way whoever can survive all these sprints really deserves Bathurst as it makes it all the more harder to be the winner. As for supporting someone, just pick a manufacturer. I cheer on any Ford team (
