Default Resident Evil: Afterlife
Well, I went because I've seen the other 3 and my cousin got me in to the midnight show for free.

About what I expected. Worse than 3, which was worse than 2, so on...so forth.

1 was a good movie based on the game.

2 was an action movie and entertaining.

3 was an action movie that went on too long

4 is I don't know WTF it is, but it wasn't entertaining. Its also open ended. They think they are going to get a #5 out of it? Who's going to give them money?! Will they have uwe bol direct it?

They skimped on that too.

And WTF is it with Clare and Alice having perfectly clean faces and lipstick too?

What besides the essentials like guns, knives..etc lipstick too?

They didn't really have that in 3.

Resident Evil movies are a disgrace to the hardcore RE game fans.

Alice, who the F is Alice.

Ditto. So the movie is what I expected.

Who wants to carpool to see Machete!?!? (followed by Expendables [again])

So you would be happy if the movies were about pushing statues, mixing herbs, finding keys and reading through wades of hints that mock the intelligence of the watcher? Ok :P I'm not saying the movies are awesome but really, what would you do with what you're given with? I've played through all of the games, multiple times so i know the movies have very little to do with them except for zombies, the virus, umbrella and names of characters but i find them entertaining.

The anime movie made followed the story of the games and gave hints at RE5. Did you like that?

While I agree a film about pushing statues, mixing herbs, finding keys and so on would be somewhat drull.....

An abandoned mansion, that turns out to be the testing ground for a virus by a company, and then uncovering a hidden lab to which they unleash a monster which they have to kill before escaping? You know, the actual plot of resident evil rather than the game mechanics lol.

Paced as a film similar to the silent hill film would be much more better than what they churn out.

The sequel? I dunno, maybe the virus as turned up in the town close by.....you get the idea.

Actually i´d love to see a Resident Evil movie made in a low budget Blair Witch kind of way.

Having rewatched the first two Resident Evil movies, and seeing the third last year I have a new appreciation for this movie series. No, it's not the games, but it's entertainment. I look forward to Afterlife and seeing what happened in Alaska. (zombie Palin attack!)

Uhh that's pretty much the first 2 movies right there, just different. The 3rd movie has nothing to do with the games but the first 2? All the major elements are there, just a different story. They even have a bloody Nemesis says "STARS!" I can't really see how can you say yo've seen the first 2 RE movies and say that.

I don't recall actually saying anything about them not carrying the plot of the first 2 films. I said use the plots of the actual games, but paced as a film similar to the silent hill film would be much more better than what they churn out.

There was a large amount of sarcasm to my post, which you may not have picked up. However, what I am saying is....Use the plot of the games, but actually make it a horror as was intended rather than the techno, fast paced mess it currently is. It tries too hard to be stylish and action, they may as well give it to Michael Bay.

The first Resident Evil movie was actually based on Resident Evil "1.5" game which was supposed to be the original Resident Evil 2 game but got cancelled, minus Alice of course. CAPCOM in all their wisdom decided to cancel it, they said that "The Hive" would be too boring or something along the lines.

It's at a whopping 7% on Rotten Tomatoes after 14 reviews. This film looked like total **** from the get-go, just like all the other films. Paul W.S. Anderson is one of the worst directors of this decade.
