Default Intel E7500 Processor Workload Sharing Issue
So I'm getting new parts to build a desktop comp. I was going for an E7400 processor, but the store I went to don't sell those anymore and they recommend I grab the E7500 instead. However, my bro said that E7500 runs a tad slower than E7400 due to something about uneven workload sharing between the two cores.

Can anyone confirm this? Is the diff in processing speed noticeable if I run things like AutoCAD, Pro/Engineering and Photoshop? Any other info regarding the matter is also appreciated.

I don't see the slightly loss in speed as posing a threat.

There really isn't much difference in the two:

E7400 : http://processorfinder.intel.com/det...px?sSpec=SLB9Y

E7500: http://processorfinder.intel.com/Det...px?sSpec=SLGTE

If anything the E7500 would be more stable.

Sorry if this doesn't help much Sayo, all of my tech has AMD >.<

Would anyone recommend upgrading to an E7600 instead? Will it be worth it? o.o

That much, I figured. XD

But the prob is that I'm a cheapskate and not willing to spend even an extra dollar if the older model will work well enough for my needs.
