Although it did break, was it me or was the phone still actually working? I'm sure that says something doesn't it? I mean drop an iphone and the screen shatters into a million pieces and becomes useless, smash this phone into a corner of something solid several time and all you do is break something small off it but it still works.
I'm sure that guy is happy with his new phone though ![]() |

i bought one for my brother in law just before christmas, its taken a beating already. he tells me every now and again though the screen just turns itself off in the middle of using it. i have yet to see it happen though, its been submerged, hammered, rolled over by trucks and cars on gravel and mud but not on concrete yet
If you want to break it you'll break it, however you'll never accidentally hammer it repeatedly off of something so its pretty much covered for the majority of accidents |

To be fair, they probably didn't test the phone by smashing the glass into a corner. It probably is fairly rugged in most circumstances. |
