Default Gran Turismo 5
Just looked and I don't think we have a thread for Gran Turismo 5?

Probably time one should be started as GTPlanet have announced a few additions for GTPSP which will presumably be available in GT5 too:

There was also the news earlier in the week that Gran Turismo 5 would be released in 2009, but not on the December 29th date Amazon had suggested:

I'd love to outfit my room with a HDTV, PS3 slim, GT5, Logitech G27 and a racing simulator chair but that won't happen anytime soon. I still eventually want to get a PS3 Slim and GT5. Not sure about the G27. I think the G27 looks great.

How about show some love for Forza 3 as well...Just as good as looking and a better physics and damage engine to boot

I'm not usually a fanboy on this sort of thing..but props should be given where props are due

As much as i love the GT series i can't say i am looking forward to the usual pre-release info. We pretty much know what to expect from Polyphony, i say just release the game already! The only surprise would be if they id not add 20 variations of MX-5's and the Toyota Trueno...again, lol. Honestly i do hope that 5 takes the series a few steps further cause i lost a lot of my interest after GT4 Prologue.

ps: what i want to see more than anything right now from TGS is an announcement over a new Street Fighter IV version (shhhh!)

Well as you can tell from my sig I am a massive GT devotee... though I am massively looking forward to its (now postponed) release, I happy enough for it to take it's time, because I know it will be worth the wait... plus I need to buy a new PS3, HDTV, steering wheel and PS3eye before it's launched (££££££££).

I've got a feeling that GT5's gonna be mindblowing when I first play it, a bit like the original game was 11 years ago.

I hope so Cosworth. I didn't buy a PS3 even though i loved my PS2 due to 3 reasons : 1.price 2.most third-party multi-platform games run smoother on the 360 and 3. all my mates convinced me that XBOX Live was a lot better (and it is). Now that the PS3 Slim is out though i am VERY tempted to buy one, mainly cause it has more AAA titles coming out that i absolutely love (GT5 is one of them). For the time being i am downloading the new Forza 3 demo to see how it all looks and feels so far

The PS2 is attractive to me because of price and the huge number of games for it. You can go into a second-hand games shop and pick up a PS2 game for under £1. But with PS3 games costing £40-£50 in stores, I think I'll be buying them very scarcely.
