Kind of weird that the tomb page you site has merit, yet what we studied from our Army study guides for the board has opposite or conflicting information. I don't doubt the page's accuracy, it's just weird that board questions pertaining to the tomb are opposite of what that page says.
Such as the hurricane and relief orders, your site says they were never ordered to be removed from post, yet what was wide spread in my unit about that was that they refused to be removed from their post after being issued an order. Now if this was changed to look better for someone or something, such as make it seem like they didn't ignore the president or something...who knows. But at mock boards I used to do with my platoon for Joes going to soldier of the month my E-6 would ask about Tomb facts, Flag facts, little known cavalry facts. So whos right and whos wrong? Army? Or a civilian organization dedicated to the Sentinels. |
