In need of a GOOD HD Camcorder - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

Im looking to get a good HD camcorder, but there are soooo many on the market, im not sure which is the best and whats true HD as apposed to the "hype" and marketing we see so much of.

I have a budget of around £500 max, anything less would be great.

Only a few requirements needed really:

Not a disc based media (dvd etc)
Easy to use menu
Nice features
Good on the hand, and easy one handed opperation
Hard drive based

What would you recommend or personally use?
