DMV has an online application that has to be mailed in, or you can go down there to day. Just make sure they are one that is open.

You will need to find someone to watch over the car for you until it comes. Then, just donate to charity and get the blue book write off, assuming you didn't make too much this year.

I left my Miata with my buddy whose daughter didn't want the car. He's going to try and sell it for me. The bummer news is that both the car insurance and registration are expiring, so I had to renew them both.

You know what the weirdest thing is about this whole retiring-and-moving-to-another-country thing is? Walking around with no car keys and no house keys in my pockets. I haven't done that in decades. It feels bizarre.
