Ercola - Every Word sampled an 80s track, what one!!!????

I have trawled the internet and can not for the life of me find out what the song is that has been sampled for the end of this dance track.

I have no idea why it bothers me but it does. Please lend me your ears and help me work it out!!! Here is the song, listen from 2:50 onwards. Imagine it without the dance beat and I KNOW its something 80s/90s:

I gave it a listen... I am normally really good with this stuff.

I have NFI what that is. And honestly, since I only listened from 2:50 on, I can't tell what part of that polyphony was the sample.http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/wacko1.gif

The rest of the song is typical modern dance with a popular hottie doing the vocals. Its only that section of the song that is sooo familiar to me. I even looked at the entire Miami Vice season playlists to see if anything on there might have been it.

Tried Top Gun too, going to check through Days of Thunder now... I am determined http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/wink1.gif

bump - please people. I am going mad trying to work this one out. Might well be linked to a popular movie 80s / 90s?

Sounds like Depeche Mode to me, from Songs of Faith and Devotion but I can't remember the actual song name.

FANTASTIC, literally just searched your suggestion on Spotify. First song - Enjoy the Silence and thats it!!!!

Can't thank you enough [thumbup]

Must have heard it on Miami Vice - only thing it really fits with

It's a very good album actually, surprisingly dark if you listen to the lyrics. I always had Depeche Mode down as a simple 80's pop band but there's a lot of substance to some of their stuff.

They are an epic group, a lot of there tracks were indeed used on Miami Vice which in its own right is dark and gritty despite the happy go lucky image most associate it with due to the era its set.

Trying to think what Enjoy the Silence is best known for... whenever I listen to it I feel like I should be watching something with it - advert.... TV series. It was never used on Miami Vice (lots of other Depeche Mode songs were) but not entirely writing off an advert http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo.../confused1.gif

The Mode rule http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/cool1.gif

However I heard the worst cover of my life the other day, The Saturdays (girls aloud clone) covering Just Can't Get Enough. Was utterly abysmal.
