It depends on how much time I have and if I'm alone or not.
Breathing control (4:4:4:4) for a quick fix if I need maximum concentration and control at that moment, listening to music (this depends on what made me tense), meditation ( started with breathing exercise - I'm still not able to meditate right away - I need a longer intro. ) or taking a longer bubble bath with few candles around and music if possible. If the cause of my tenseness is a human being, that is: his/her actions, I either become Very quiet or explode - depending on what he/she did - and sort things out with him/her. For years I used to go over such things and keep them for myself - it just made me sick and drowned my self-esteem. |
