Ever have this problem with newegg and free shipping?
 

Placed an order for 2GB DDR2 for a laptop and it had free shipping. A week later it said delivered but it never showed up in the mail. Contacted newegg and they said they would reship in a week after usps refunded there money. Well they shipped and it says delivered on the 13th of this month. Guess what? It WAS NOT delivered. Being its sunday I cant contact them today but I will be on the phone tomorrow this time requesting overnight shipping via fedex or ups and NOT DHL to usps.

Ever had this happen to you?

Very strange. That's never happened to me. Maybe someone at UPS is getting some free RAM.

[edit] DHL? I have never received any DHL stuff from newegg. Always UPS.

EDIT: Wow that didnt show up right. Oh well you can read it and see what I am saying about DHL and usps.

I remember someone else here having the same problem a few weeks ago when it came to DHL. They did the same thing, since DHL doesn't do domestic deliveries anymore, they just transfer it to USPS now I guess. I'm wondering if they show it as delivered once they transfer it to USPS instead of it actually being delivered.

Ahhh the Egg Saver shipping method strikes again. Starts DHL, gets handed off to the USPS and is VERY slow (7-10 business days). Looks like it's getting even worse if you aren't getting the packages...

IMO the UPS 3-Day Guaranteed is the best shipping option offered at Newegg, and is sometimes the free option on qualifying items.

I called monday to get a refund issued. Low and behold the second package showed up yesterday only 4 days after it said it was already delivered on the tracking info. WTF! Lets see if I actually get a refund. I have a feeling I will and I deserve it.

Probably not from Newegg. Once it leaves their warehouses, it's in the hands of the shipping agencies and becomes their responsibility.

Maybe that's the 1st package and the 2nd one is still on it's way? [rofl]

Now that would be hilarious! Whats even funnier is my refund showed up in my bank account yesterday! [rofl]
