I found that it takes generally one period of hard workout to form a good strucuture of abdomen. In grade 11 highschool i used to work out like crazy and do crunches all the time and what not and i formed my abs. After that, i never had to work out that crazy to keep them. I can do crunches once a month now and my 6 pack is still showing. You really have to dig a hole and get all that fat out of with all your willpower and then it will all be easy after that.

Yeah no amount of exercise will get you a 6 pack, you gotta eat properly too. I remember seeing somewhere that if you cut (all?) fat out of your diet, you'll get your 6 pack abs with minimal effort. So yeah, have fun eating like a rabbit all year long [rofl] When I soil sampled a couple years back I'd eat basically huge quantities of whatever I wanted and lo and behold I got a six pack. I was hiking 6 to 10km every day in mountainous terrain with a 40-60 lb pack on, so in some cases I would be hiking 2500 vertical meters in a day. But on a typical day here's what I'd eat: Breakfast: - 2 large bowls of Vector, or Mini wheats 10am Snack: - 2 Chocolate bars or 1 chocolate bar and 1 energy bar Lunch: - 2 Peanutbutter Sandwiches - ~100g of chips - granola bar - chocolate bar or energy bar 3pm Snack: - More chips or 2 granola bars or 1 chocolate bar or 1 energy bar Dinner: - Generally 1 large serving of meat (ie a 6"x6" steak) - 1 Large serving of veggies - ~1-1.5lbs of starchy food Dessert: - 2 bars of some form or another... Drink: ~2.5L of Gatorade ~1 L Water -2 or 3 cans of pop On my best day I ate about 5lbs of pasta with a cream sauce and beans for dinner and 2 chocolate bars after. I went from 150lbs to 178lbs in around 60 days. Good luck fitting that much excercise into your life though unless of course you get paid to do so. |

Don't get one!
Once you do, it's a curse. Friends and gfs will hate you when you do.. and friends and fiancee will make fun of you when you don't. It's a cruel world out there.. ![]() *runs away crying Seriously though, easy abs would be : lose weight with cardio because like everyone said everyone has 'abs' underneath the fat aka those people who rarely work out and are super skinny ( endomorphs? ). OR Hard way (real abs) to get abs is to actually excercise the muscles along with cardio and diet to actually enlarge those muscles, and with a hint of MMA. Either way, girls won't know the difference (between real abs and skinny abs) but body builders will.. so who are you doing this for.. certainly not the body builders, right? ![]() Good luck ![]() |

It took me 18 months or so to go from 113kg of fat to 85kg of fairly lean muscle and ive got a decent 6 pack now i guess.
Ive basically never done any form of sport what so ever in my life up untill this point. This is doing full contact kickboxing btw, i go to my kickboxing gym 3 times a week and train at home 3 times a week. The gym work is the skill/technical/sparring training and the 3 days i do at home are HIIT/Strength Training/Weighted Core Exercises on seperate days in that order. This is me now, on the left: http://www.gmaa.co.uk/FightNight5Pic...C_0720_JPG.jpg Id just like to point out i didnt train to get a 6pack, i trained to improve at kickboxing and the abs came with it. As a few people have said before me, all you need is a decent diet, some HIIT to burn bodyfat so you can see your abs and some weighted core exercises so you actually have some abs to show. With regards to the diet dont try to go on some stupid "Rabbit food" diet as someone said, eat the things you like but everything in moderation. I personally love meat which is good as i need alot of protein for recovery from my workouts. Cut out white flour products, change everything to wholegrain and eat as naturally as possible. Make sure you get a good balance of carbs/protein/fat, dont cut fat out completly but dont add fats when not necessary |
