So I just went out and bought a journal as my new year's resolution is to start and keep one up. I'll see how long it last. One of the main reasons I decided to do it is that I'll be traveling a lot htis semester and would like to document it fairly well. That, and when I'm old a senile I'd like to actually be able to remember my life.
So, as the thread title says, anyone else keep a journal? |

I tried when I was a kid, found a disturbing lack of things to write. I have no idea how you're supposed to spin it into something worth reading.
Today: woke up at 9am, woke up again at noon cleaned out the sink watched some tv while eating went on FM I can certienly expand the above list into a proper paragraph each, but it would just make it all the less interesting. |

I had to keep a journal as part of my college internship. It got me into the habit of keeping a journal for a while afterwords, but once I got into the real world and working a steady job I found my days were too monotonous to really bother with keeping track of it all. I do still go back and read a page out of my journal from time to time and it usually makes me smile. My internship in college was probably one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and one that I will likely never get to experience again. It definately made me think differently about life, and from time to time its good to go back and remind myself of that.
