What's your dream?

What's the one thing you would like to do / own before you die?

Quick$bux 04-11-2008 12:52 AM

I like to die ones.

ImmitsRom 04-11-2008 12:55 AM

My only dream is to die a free American, looks like that dream is fizzling out.

My goal right now is being able to afford to travel around the world, and see all the different places I've never been able to go before. I'm working on a trip right now to Australia, but man oh man are plane tickets expensive http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ilies/sad1.gif

Tickets should be cheaper for you than for us Europeans. You can fly west, over the Cook Islands, straight to Sydney. Us Europeans have to fly East, - which is a 22 hour plane flight. When I went to Australia in 2001, my return ticket was 900 GBP. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ilies/cry1.gif

Interesting, I'll have to look that up. When I checked about 2 months ago, a single ticket cost almost $2,000 [shocked]

Nah, in all honesty it's just to have a good life - family, love and friends. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/smile1.gif

Gaxiciverfere 04-11-2008 05:48 AM

The usual good life with family and all that but something difference and that makes sense and life meaningful would be cool, don't know anything yet though. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/blink1.gif

I dunno where you're flying from...

But you can get a return ticket + tax for about $1800 AUD. So should be cheaper for you. I'll give you a tip, avoid flying United!

Give Air New Zealand a shot too. This means you'll have a stop over in Auckland, however they are a good airline and I flew them to LA! IMO a little better than Qantas. Also you might want to check out Virgin Australia ($1759 US), they start their new international flights to LA from November this year!

Really? I can understand it being more to fly from the east coast but tickets from here to Sydney are around $1,000.

AmfitNom 05-10-2008 04:11 PM

My dream is to know what I want to do when I get older. I ain't got the first clue on how I want my future to be set out like. And by the time I do I have to go through the troubles of achieving it.

ATM all I want is a simple life, simple job, everything simple, and to enjoy what I do, that's all I got atm, not much to go by[no].

I also want to do a bit of traveling too and see some cool places.
