The most interesting movie gun/ game gun I'm seen , was the Pistol Harrison ford used in Blade runner, Its the same pistol that crops up in the game Fallout 2.

A rare prop that sold on ebay for $1750

And the Fallout 2 gun,

And the Fallout 2 gun,

It's a bolt action that is probably only capable of firing really short blanks.

Look at how much room is left once the bolt is closed in the first picture.

I believe is a combination of a Steyr SL .222 Remington receiver and bolt & a Charter Arms Special Bulldog, in .44 calibre.

The actual movie gun fired blanks which several sites say were 6mm.

This page shows the exact movie prop used by harrison ford, quite interesting reading!

Some being the operative word here. If you want to know what was used in the made for TV Movie Bravo Two Zero you are in luck, if you want to know just what was John Wayne's lever action in Rio Bravo forget it.
