Rose Tyler gets my vote, though I do admit to having seen only a smattering of episodes from the original run.
I see you're not included one-time companions -- at least for the 2005-to-present incarnation (didn't check the others) -- and that's understandable. I am interested to see '06 Christmas Special's Donna Noble again as that character is to return regularly next season from what I have read; I believe she has the potential to be even better than Rose ultimately. |

They did show Rose a few episodes back but they didn't explain how she got back from the parallel universe.
BTW the Doctor's Daughter is TEH HOT! Genetic cloning for the win. Edit: The actriss's name is Georgia Moffett and she became a mother at just 17! She officially gets entered into my MILF book. |

Well at first it seems they dont want to kill companions, so they park them at another dimension/Organization/Virtual World/ Space Trip etc.
Fine by me. Recently though they keep getting rescued which turns otherwise beautiful plots into a farce. ( 'Donna Noble has been saved' anyone? ) The End of the season where Rose got stuck in another Dimension was very good. Now it seems they just decided to bring her back? Why? It kind of takes the purpose and beauty of some other episodes away ![]() (Although the Previews are usually misleading) Perhaps they should start to kill passing companions for the greater good of the series. The possible Archeologist Companion which seems to start with her death seemed quite clever. I mean Her End as a fixed Situation where the story leads to? Genius! |
