Safe Eyes Usage

Can someone tell me where the internet USAGE LOGS are located on this computer (Mac) for the program called SAFE EYES? I need to erase them or my g/f is gonna be pissed off. It is her computer! I looked at the program and it says they are located on MY COMPUTER for up to 30 days.

Thanks

5. Usage Alerts - Be notified instantly via email, text message, or phone call when someone visits inappropriate websites. Errrrr......[oops]?

that'll teach you for looking at porno on your girlfriends pc! http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/devil1.gif

Would something like CC CLEANER do the job? I wonder if I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it. Do they have a CC Cleaner for Mac users?

I'm not on Mac, but the filesystem is similar to Linux. Hidden folders start with a period, eg ".hidden". Turn on hidden files and look in the /home folder (or whatever it's called on Mac, possibly the username).

Apart from that little snippet of info which is probably useless! http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/laugh1.gif All I'd say is that in future you should only use your computer to look at stuff that your G/F will be mad about http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/smile1.gif

Alternatively, get a G/F that likes 'our' material http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/devil1.gif

If your G/F freaks out a bit over some porn you need a new girl.

She needs to be understanding of your manhood. Its not like you're out sleeping with random people or anything.

Time to backup important data and find that OS X DVD. [rofl]

Were you aware that this was installed before you went to said sites?

What is easiest way to backup data on a Mac? It is new so she doesn't have but a few things on it anyway. Put it on a flash drive?

You could put it on a flash drive if you want. However, isn't she going to be suspicious when she sees that you restored her computer?

Personally I would fess up to it unless these sites you visited are really atrocious.

Happened to a friend of mine once (no, seriously http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/laugh1.gif), he used to surf with IE, and liked all kinds of proper nasty porn, and he used a little bit of software to scrub his PC clean after each session.

I recommended Firefox to him and it became his default browser so that took over hosting the pornfests. The cleaner software didn't work with FF but he didn't know that and when his missus went online and saw the kind of things he was in to and viewed on a regular basis she was gone!!! [rofl] [shocked]

(I know I worded that really badly but it's late here and I'm shattered)

Almost all log files are kept for easy reading by the Console application console.app located in the /applications/utilities folder. Safe Eyes might not be in there, but every crash log is.

Drop the laptop and smash it to bits and say you accidentally knocked it off the table. That or bury it in the back yard and say someone stole it. Or you could just fess up.
