The Chemtrail Conspiracy involves the process in which planes essentially "trail" the sky with toxic chemicals. Unlike Contrails, which is the normal "debris" left behind an aircraft's engines, chemtrails are reportedly longer, thicker, and visible for hours. From Wiki:

Now I'm not really one for conspiracies, but just the other day there wasn't a cloud in the sky near my house, but as planes continued to pass over, the sky was almost completely transformed. This shot was taken from someone who lives near my area. Every single one of those "trails" is from a plane. I don't necessarily believe in chemtrails, but goddamn that's a lot of pollution
