Figure it this way.

Even if you still, god forbid, snuff it early in life regardless of ciggie use or not, you will get better time from it while you are around.

Listening to my father (now a "stealth smoker") in the winter is enough to twist your insides out. He has had Bronchitis almost every year for 10 years now. He is starting to have trouble getting up stairs, the whole nine yards.

Smoking costs you big $$ (just put the cash that you would have spent on ciggies away each week and at the end of the year, take a look at how much you have), it makes food taste bland, makes it harder to enjoy any physical activity, smells bad in the hair and on clothes (even to other smokers) and has many other negatives besides just the obvious Cancer risk.

Just keep reminding yourself of these things, and try to find a single attractive female smoker (au-natural) after the age of 40. You may find one, but trust me, they are rare!

Thaks for the words of advice. last night after 2 glasses of wine I was thinking about having one but stopped myself. I was and am very proud of myself. Also, for evey cig. I went outside to smoke, I was taking minutes away from being with my son.

Congrats voodoochild. I've seen a few people quit smoking (for good) in my lifetime and it really changes lives.

Keep it up!
Ben
