Default Please help! Problem with Heroes!!!
My local network is replaying season one instead of season two!!! Does anyone else have this problem!? Peter isn't sure how he has his powers or how to use them, hell, he doesn't even know what he can do! Hiro is going on about how he loves being a hero and playing with swords and yelling yatta and stuff. Claire is doing a really crappy ass job of hiding her powers and is making friends with some loser typical outcast high school boy. Clarie's dad is pretending to be in the paper business when he's really just using it as a cover. Sylar is trying to gather as many powers as possible to become more powerful then everyone else. Finally, the "company" or "organization" or what not is trying to track everyone down for some unknown reason.

Is anyone else getting re-runs of season one instead of the new season?! I've waited all summer and now that I turn on the TV every Monday night I get episodes from last year that I've already watched! I mean last year was pretty good and all but these kind of shows don't have any replay value in them, once you've watched an episode it's boring to re-watch it!

I can't answer your original question but...I think NBC is offering the shows for download (free) on thier website. They do have commercials however.

edit: wow...I completely missed the sarcasm /runs away

acarney....

that is a pretty clever dig

I agree though, what is this a one trick pony? I had a great time watching the first season in rapid succession on DVD (first watching).

This season starts up and I have it recorded on the DVR in HD. Think it will be great....well first of all, HOLY &*(* they have a ton of commercials. Obscene really. Enough where even fast forwarding is becoming a chore and I am taken completely out of the show.

Then the content. You are exactly right, so far this is season one again....or at least way too close for comfort. I guess Peter was too strong...so they can't follow a progression arc...so they put him back to zero.

Claire as a cheerleader looking to lay low worked good the first time...well lets just stay at it, kick it up a notch.

Heroes has one of the better premises and a ton of potential, but it won't go very far without some improved writing. Even last season you could see they were a bit on shaky ground, held up way too much by powers alone.

So far season 2 hasn't impressed me in the least. 30 minutes of actual show, 30 minutes of commercials...and its just season 1 with a twist. Same plot, different setting.

I missed last night's episode, but I was disappointed with the first two episodes this season. It seems like none of the characters are doing anything very interesting.

Here's a summary of last night's episode: The characters continued to do nothing of interest.

What if he's not. I've got a feeling he's going to turn over a new leaf.

Wow.. I am note sure what you guys were expecting.. I mean, they set up a storyline worth taking for more than one season, and that is just what they are doing. Did you really expect season one to be totally forgotten?

I mean, they are picking up where they ended last time, and so far, i think its great. If you can't see that there is new story being made, perhaps you ARE watching reruns.... [rolleyes]
