Depends what it's used for, it's a decent TV but has a 16:10 resolution, console games will be stretched.

Just for my apartment. I probably will not be getting HDTV immediately but I would like to buy a TV that will last a few years into the transition to High Def media (blu ray or HD DVD) and also have something that takes up very little space.

Here is a 26" for a hundred bucks more. It would probably be very much worth the extra 100.

Or here is a 42" plasma for $849

why not just get a Westing House 19 WS moniter? it $149 at BB. (too lazy 4 k=link)

it's got componet and many other input for DVD players and such. And since your waiting on HDTV I think it as a input for that.

What about the viewing angle? Isn't it significantly less on an LCD monitor? I'm on a budget here so I'm trying to find something no more than $400 since I'll have to pay 7.15% tax on top of that. I'm open to suggestion from online sellers as well.
