I'm going to have a Inguinal hernia repair at the weekend , a mesh will also be fitted to avoid it returning . What can I expect and how long will it take before im 100 percent back to normal ?

Yep, but I'm buggered if I know what it's supposed to do and what happens. I was only 5 at the time, and really don't want to know I think. All I remember is standing in the childrens hospital ward starkers and having to cough, it was embarresing given there was visitors walking around

my dad had one a few weeks back but i don't think he had a mesh, i would say a few weeks maybe less before you are back to normal
