Thanks to anyone and everyone that voted for Veronica Mars when I posted the “Save One Show” link a few weeks back! Veronica Mars (1.9 million votes) stormed ahead during the first part of the poll and at one time had over 40% of ALL the votes but somehow Gilmore Girls (2.2 million) fags (err, fans) took the lead in the LAST 24 hours. The results show it was still very close and both Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls dominated the other shows.

Veronica Mars executive producer Rob Thomas said “we’re continually astounded by the fans’ willingness to go grassroots to keep us around. More than ever, the letter-writing, vote-casting, plane-circling efforts of our fans may be just the push we need to make it back on the air.”

So even if all of you don’t think a single bit of this helps, at least the people that pour their time and effort into making the show appreciate and DO see how much the fans love their hard work and that alone is enough to do these kinds of things.
