Since he's new there, he won't be much help figuring out the nightlife scene. What's it like? What are the top three clubs? So far, I've limited my drinking to this bar/restaurant in downtown Bellevue (across the street from the Westin, with lots of really, really hot waitresses), and "Belltown Billiards" (where I got plastered one night before taking the redeye back). 1. The nightlife is weak. I dont know the hetero clubs. I'd actually rather go to a gay club or bar.
2. Belltown Billiards should be a place to get women. A certain kind of women I dont try for
3. Any club is as good as another here. So just have fun. I'd avoid Capitol Hill if you want to avoid gay/hipster scenes, just as I'd avoid pioneer square if you want to avoid trashy west seattle folk, or belltown if you want avoid eastside folk.

suburban eastside, kirkland bellevue redmond etc
west seattle working class suburbs, burien, raineir beach, etc
seattle semi urban, cap hill, queen anne, pioneer square, belltown

eastsiders suck because of their vapidness and excursions to seattle for fun, west seattle sucks for their trashiness and excursions to seattle for fun, and seatle sucks for think better of themselves.

Eh? I thought you were bi by name but were mostly hetero.

Since when did you queen it up at the gay bars? since they were measurably more fun. I also get better pours by bartenders.

Oh, you mean the rpg game? It always seemed cool, but I never played.

Well, I did play the Sega game a bit, it was awesome. One of the best Sega games, I think.

The original Shadowrun is much more than dumbedly shooting down enemies, and buy cyberware like you'd buy a soyburger.

4th edition...?
WOW, i was truly clueless...
i honestly quit shadowrun because of a LACK of interested players...
but in the 4th edition i HOPE they streamlined the rules and made the book(s) more reader-friendly...
took me quite a time to figure 3rd edition out...

Jon Miller Yeah, my GM is very stringent about the hardware you can buy at character's creation, and getting new hardware while in-game is PITA. As a result, our characters are reasonably stunted (it hadn't always been the case in pas campaigns)
