Hello everyone

I am getting a new car very soon but I can't decide which one to get. I have been considering BMW 325i and Lexus IS250 for a long time. My friend was kind enough to lend me his 2006 BMW 325i for a week while he went on a vacation so that's what I have been driving for the past couple of days. I also went to the Lexus dealership and test drove an IS250 AWD (they didn't have any RWD in stock) and talked about the price and what my monthly payment would be.

After driving both cars, there's no doubt in my mind BMW drives better even though it feels heavier than Lexus. (Maybe 2007 328i models are smoother). The thing I like about Lexus is that it's got real leather seats and a true keyless entry/start. The car automatically senses your remote so you never have to take the key out of your pocket or bag to get into the car or to start the car.

I need your opinions people! What would you get and why? Please, no childish comments like "BMW's are cooler!," "Get a Honda Civic and hook it up." I'm very serious about buying one of them so I would really appreciate it if you can give me some serious advice. Also, I would love to hear about leasing vs. financing. I spent about 2 hours with a Lexus salesman going over many different prices and I'm leaning more towards leasing at this point. I've read numerous articles about leasing vs. financing and talked to many people and they all told me to stay far far far away from leasing. I can finance the car no problem but at the same time, I want to be able to pay for the car even if I lose my job or something.

I am looking at either 2007 Lexus IS250 RWD or BMW 328i. What do you guys think?
