Nothing brings a community together like a common enemy.
Are EAG and Sparafucil really different people? And regarding Sparafucil's location, I think this sums it up well:

Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Default Apple / Cook apologizes for the Maps
http://www.apple.com/letter-from-tim-cook-on-maps/

Apple / Cook have formally apologized for the failure they call Maps.
Sure, it might work in the US at least somewhat fine (honestly don't know if it does there), but US isn't all the world, this particular pic at least I found perfect for the situation

I actually agree. Much, much better than Mike Morhaime's letter.

I see no reason for Apple to apologize for not delivering a perfect global mapping service out of the box on day one. How long did it take for Google Maps to get its current state of semi-reliability? Certainly not over night.

I think the issue is the removal of a perfect global mapping service that iOS users were already used to.

Getting first world money means having to deal with first world problems.

Apparently, bitching on internet discussion boards is how we deal with first world problems.

Yeah, you know very much how to do that quite well - read all your posts on gaming to see what I mean.
