What a start by Alonso, Di Resta, Raikonnen, and Kobayashi all mugged!
Not quite from the start though, it was 2nd lap already when he passed Räikkönen and a bit after Schumacher too, Ferrari is just simply astoundishingly fast here

If the car doesn't have the speed, it doesn't have the speed - some analyzed that while Lotuses topped the speedtraps, it takes a lot longer for them to reach their max speed, they get too slow out of corners than the most

Looks like all the Ferrari engines have a 'Monza mode' built into them

Perez is absolutely flying, what an astonishing young driver he is. I'll be amazed if one of the top teams doesn't snap him up soon.

Pretty much only thing that could have gone better under the circumstances would have been Alonso having to quit the race, too, we'd be having awfully close championship top5 now

Nearly but not quite for Perez!, solid win for Hamilton puts him right back in the championship race. Nightmare for Button and RedBull, and superb damage limitation for Alonso who still looks like the title favourite.

Well I had $10 on a Hamilton Massa 1-2 finish at 35/1 odds.Looked great at the start - But then Alonso did his thing, and Massa did his

Red bull will be very glad they are heading back to the tracks that use the tyre compounds they enjoy, especially Webber who hasn't looked happy in the car since he won Silverstone.

When are Renault using their supposed race winning double DRS, or are they already Get Grosjean back in the car ASAP as while he struggles to get past the first corner, he has the most raw pace.

Excellent drive by Perez, excellent strategy calls as well from Sauber.

On that note, more horrible calls by Mercedes, Ross Brawn seems to be losing his touch. They have made poor decisions for almost every race.

Yep, I really should remember Perez and that Sauber are the king of tyre preservation. Whenever the race is a close thing on one stop, Perez always charges home for a podium.

I blame Pirelli for miss-informing me, they claimed no one would struggle to do the race in one stop!

You should see what odds you can get for Maldonardo not smashing into anyone.

If Perez and Sauber can qualify a bit higher on the grid, I can easily see them taking a race win before the end of the season.

On certain tracks that car in his hands seems well up to the job.

Massa signed his death warrant this weekend, especially with Perez's performance. It would be very surprising to see Massa in Ferrari red next season, even if they do say Perez lacks XP for Ferrari.

They're not using it yet, supposedly they'll use it in Suzuka

Wouldn't say he has the "most raw pace" either, as when both him and Kimi have finished the race, Kimi has finished ahead of him 5 times, compared to him finishing twice ahead of Kimi

Huh? Massa drove just as fine as he could, considering Ferrari ordered him to let Alonso past him

He did well at the start, but he was told to speed up, and couldn't handle Perez at all. It's also not just this race. He's done well this weekend overall - should it have been all year, it wouldn't have been an issue. But if you are Ferrari management, you have to look at the constructors - that's where the money is - and Massa has clearly underperformed.

Great race, fantastic job by Hamilton! Sucks for Button though. Bad weekend for Red Bull, and Alonso getting passed by Perez has made the standings even tighter. Next races are going to be great!
