Pressing post about Michael Brecker recording his ultimate CD while he was sick/dying: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...t/4834010.html To date, I've read a few evaluations of the CD, Pilgrimage, on the About Jazz site and they've been favourable: ever and Brecker playing in addition to powerful original arrangements. There may be a tendency to see his last recording through rose-coloured glasses, however it seemed like a minumum of one of the writers made an attempt to not let herself be affected this way.
