WESTMORELAND, N.H. Mary Josephine Ray, oldest person residing in america as the Brand New Hampshire girl who had been licensed, has died at age 114 decades, 294 days. She died Sunday at a home in Westmoreland but was effective until about fourteen days before her death, her daughter Katherine Ray said. Life was just enjoyed by "she. She never considered dying at all," Katherine Ray said. "She was planning her birthday party." A week ago even with her current decrease, Ray managed a meeting with a writer, her daughter said. The Gerontology Research Group states that Ray was the oldest person in the Usa and the second-oldest in the world. She was also noted whilst the oldest person ever to reside in New Hampshire. The oldest living American has become Neva Morris, of Ames, Iowa, at age 114 years, 216 times. The oldest person on the planet is Japan's Kama Chinen at age 114 years, 301 times. Lewis was created May 17, 1895, in Bloomfield, Prince Edward Island, Canada. She moved to america at age 3. She lived for 60 years in Anson, Maine. Before she moved to Westmoreland in 2002 to be near her kiddies she lived in Florida, Massachusetts and elsewhere in New Hampshire. Ray's partner, Walter, died in 1967. Survivors include two daughters, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Source
