Default Dominicans require change passports by 1 Might?
While the Department of Passports says this is just a Homeland Security Department requirement, I can't find anywhere a on this requirement. All I find is just a 26 October 2004 timeline and that's for visas weren't needed by European nationals who in the pass today need the biometric passport to enter with no credit. May anybody find informative data on this expected US new necessity. Imagine the mad dash for everybody who's likely to go the UNITED STATES to obtain passports and the additional $ this could create for the Mejia government.
I believe you answered your personal concerns. So far as I will establish, the May 1 deadline is just a Hippo deadline, not really a US one. It's not really clear in my experience that the DR need alter its passports at all, but them must certanly be changed to incorporate a processor with biometric informative data on the passport holder... rather that the US credit put. I strongly believe, as you appear to, this has more to complete with revenue-raising and someone obtaining a fat government agreement to create biometric passports, with invisible profits likely to the PPH slush fund....
