Net/router expert guidance needed (5Ghz community)

I bought Netgear WNDR4500 modem and desired to set it up the way in which that my MacBook Air (2010/Snow Leopard with latest upgrades) links to it via 5Ghz community only. The thing is that after I start up my Air among the 3 times a note pops up on my MacBook saying "None of one's preferred systems are available" but below the concept it provides for connecting to another identified systems and my 5Ghz relationship is shown there. If it is pressed by me link begins instantly. Occasionally it links with no issue. Easily put 2.4Ghz to known systems and MacBook can't link to the 5Ghz (It's first preferred community in record )*it links to 2.4Ghz. You will find no such*problems with another group. Nevertheless I'd like have automatic link with 5Ghz allways perhaps not manual. I tried various settings in modem (security settings, no security, pace settings, community card entry record, stations an such like) but no luck...SSID's are CCC and CCC 5Ghz respectiveley. Perhaps there are several sophisticated options in modem to resolve this or final instructions in MacBook.
