Default Terminated trip - just how much does I be owed by the airline?
I recently had to have a airplane trip to a different area of the US. My ticket way was booked by me ahead of time on the web with Airtran. When I reserved it it was about $100. On Friday morning, when I acquired on the plane, they introduced to everybody else that the plane was leaking hydraulic liquid and that the plane wouldn't have the ability to travel until it was mounted - half of a day which would take. They told us to log off the program and keep in touch with the ticketing agent who'd be waiting at the entrance. There were about 150 people on the trip and as we got off the airplane there was ONE ticketing representative there to provide 150 people standing in line. I NEEDED seriously to reach my spot as soon and overlooked standing in line since I was in a rush as possible (was an open house of forms at a University). In the place of standing in line I acquired on my telephone and called Delta Airlines, which had the following earliest trip open to my spot. The Delta solution was $195. they'll give me, $100 or $195 when I call Airtran, just how much of a reimbursement do. Has anybody had this occur to them before?
