Default Monsanto Found Guilty of Chemical Poisoning
A farmer that cant perform his routine farming duties any longer attributable to permanent chemical injuries has had his day in court, and also the offender of his injuries has been found guilty of chemical poisoning. The court at Lyon in France ruled that Monsanto’s Lasso weed killer formula, which contains alachlor, resulted Paul Francois developing lifelong neurological harm that manifests itself as persistent cognitive state, headaches, and stammering during speech.

This is a warning label suit... not a patent suit. Harmless to Monsanto's business plan.

There is nothing "landmark" about this case. Monsanto probably invested minimal effort in defending it because the payout on a loss is less than paying their lawyers to mount a suitable defense.
